Cultura Drag Queen
El Drag es el arte de adoptar presentaciones exageradas usualmente asociadas a un genero especifico. Aunque usualmente se habla mas de "Drag Queen", el drag no se limita a esta acotación. el transformismo es un arte perfomativo y por en de cercano al teatro.
Es un término que se refiere a usar la ropa del sexo opuesto.
De ahí los términos
Drag queen (un hombre que se viste de mujer)
Drag king (una mujer que se viste de hombre)
Tenga en cuenta que en el mundo de hoy, estos términos no se deben confundir con las personas trans o aquellos que simplemente les gusta la ropa que no coincide con su sexo. Drag se considera principalmente una forma de entretenimiento)
Se puede usar como sustantivo; donde simplemente dices Drag. O puede usarse como un adjetivo; como en drag show. (Un show de Drag básicamente).
Se dice que el primer uso registrado para el término drag queen fue en 1870. Se usaba para referirse a actores masculinos vestidos con ropa de mujer.
Drag fue visto en las primeras formas de teatro. (Aparentemente, a las mujeres no se les permitió participar).Pero los personajes femeninos aún necesitan ser retratados; lo que significaba que los hombres, en su mayoría adolescentes, tenían que desempeñar los papeles. La primera actuación de Romeo y Julieta fue interpretada por dos hombres.
EL COSPLAYER Y EL DRAG QUEEN.
Lo cierto es que ser cosplayer o Drag Queen no define de ninguna manera la identidad sexual, se trata de expresiones artísticas de hecho, que tienen sus propios códigos estéticos y que para el gran publico pueden resultar un tanto desconcertantes.
LOS TIPOS DE DRAG QUEENS Y DEFINICION.
Comedy Queen: Se caracterizan porque siempre tiene a la gente riendo. son especialistas en sacarles carcajadas a las personas.
Dark Queen: Se caracterizan por seguir la corriente gótica y del terror pero con mucho glamour.
Pageant Queen: Se especializan en las competencias siempre las vas a ver listas para desfilar por el escenario en tres tipos de atuendo.
Fashion Queen: Se dedican al mundo de las pasarelas y el modelaje. Ellas siempre tendrán todo perfecto como por ejemplo: el maquillaje, la peluca,, el vestuario, la postura, etc...
Big Queen: Se caracterizan por sus anchas caderas naturales y casi siempre por su gran corazón. lo que l@s define es su actitud y son imponentes por naturaleza.
Shady Queen: son las drags venenosas y de boca suelta que andan echando verborrea (chismes, indirectas, etc..) por todos lados.
Fishy Queen: son aquellas que parecen mujer (suri mujer), ósea que si parecen una jovencita, dama o señorita que dan el gatazo, pues son bonitas y no se les puede negar.

We have all seen or at least heard about Drag Queens. They may also not know what I'm talking about or wondering WHAT IS OR WHAT DOES THE WORD DRAG QUEEN MEAN? Well, don't worry, I'll explain it to you.

The first recorded use for the term drag queen is said to have been in 1870. It was used to refer to male actors dressed in women's clothing.
Drag was seen in the earliest forms of theater. (Apparently, the women were not allowed to participate.) But the female characters still need to be portrayed; which meant that the men, mostly teenagers, had to play the roles. Romeo and Juliet's first performance was performed by two men.

The truth is that being a cosplayer or Drag Queen does not define sexual identity in any way, it is about artistic expressions in fact, that have their own aesthetic codes and that for the general public can be somewhat disconcerting.
THE TYPES OF DRAG QUEENS AND DEFINITION.
Comedy Queen: They are characterized because they always have people laughing. they are specialists in making people laugh.
Dark Queen: They are characterized by following the gothic and horror trend but with a lot of glamor.
Pageant Queen: They specialize in competitions, you will always see them ready to parade around the stage in three types of attire.
Fashion Queen: They are dedicated to the world of catwalks and modeling. They will always have everything perfect, such as: makeup, wig, wardrobe, posture, etc ...
Big Queen: They are characterized by their wide natural hips and almost always by their big heart. what they define is their attitude and they are imposing by nature.
Shady Queen: they are the loose-mouthed, poisonous dragons that go around spouting verbiage (gossip, hints, etc ...) everywhere.
Fishy Queen: they are those that look like a woman (suri woman), that is, if they look like a young woman, lady or young lady who hit the jackpot, they are pretty and cannot be denied.
